How to mention someone in a shared note on your iPhone

Did you know that since iOS 14.5 and macOS Big Sur 11.3 it's possible to mention someone in a shared note?

Just type the @ sign and tap on the name of the desired person in the predictive area at the top of the virtual keyboard.

If you or the other person have a device with an older version of iOS or macOS, you'll see a message at the top.

The person you mentioned will receive a notification that will lead them to the affected note.

At the bottom of that note, there will be a small banner that can be swiped up to reveal the latest modifications made to the shared note.

And you, how many notes have you shared with family members or friends?
